The rigid form of the existing garden was addressed with the introduction of a gently curving planting beds to the western boundary; creating a private garden which met the client brief for both movement and visual interest.

The vibrant tones of the multi stemmed Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy' to the rear of the garden draw the onlooker through the space, whilst simultaneously providing a filtered screen to a small dining area beyond.

The rich purple, pink tone of the specimen tree were further repeated with hints of Sanguisorba 'Tanna', Dierama pulcherrimum and Astrantia 'Hadspen Blood' to name but a few.
