The proposed scheme units the main house and ancillary building with the introduction of a generous entertaining terrace beyond which lies the oval lawn.  Lavish planting beds wrap around the western edge of the lawn creating a soft and visually inviting backdrop.  

An attractive specimen fruit tree is proposed which will anchor the lawn to the centre of the site and 'hark' back to a garden of old.  To the north of the garden a series of stepped terraces provide social spaces and make the most of the late evening sun.  Whilst to the south, a productive garden satisfies the clients' 'green fingers' whilst making the most of borrowed views of the adjacent agricultural farm.
